SyntheSys and RODIAN awarded Norwegian Framework Contract.
6th January 2010. SyntheSys Systems Engineers Limited in partnership with RODIAN Communications is delighted to have been awarded a Tactical Data Link (TDL) Framework contract from the Norwegian Defence CIS Division TDL Systems Office.
The TDL Framework covers the following areas within the TDL area: Network planning & design, TDL standards, technical procurement support, system management, training, and Concept & development.
SyntheSys as Prime Contractor will provide the commercial interface to the customer and RODIAN will provide the day-to-day Programme Management interface through their Norwegian office.
Working together we will provide TDL technical consultancy support.

Bundeswehr awards contract to Serco and RODIAN
Serco GmbH in partnership with RODIAN Communications has been awarded a contract to supply a Link 16 reference and test system for the Federal Office of the Bundeswehr for Information Management and Information Technology.
1st September 2009. RODIAN, together with its subcontractor ALS Technologies Ltd (ALS), is the Design Authority for the Link 16 RuTaEs. RODIAN will also be responsible for the Factory Test at Serco’s facility in Bonn, Germany.
The integration of Link 16 capabilities varies depending on the operational requirements of the respective weapon-system. The efficiency and effectiveness of the use of Link 16 as a command resource in the tactical command of the Armed Forces is essentially dependent on the degree of interoperability that is achieved for the platforms.
Besides comprehensive testing possibilities, the Link 16 Referenz- und Testanlage für Einsatzsysteme (L16 RuTaEs) will be used primarily as a foundation for making decisions for the approval or rejection of system maintenance and change measures.
Through the possibility of networked operation of the L16 RuTaEs, the German Armed Forces will be able to check aspects of the procedural, technical and operational interoperability quickly and easily, across organisational boundaries as well as in collaboration with NATO and coalition partners.
The Link 16 simulation system will be supplied by DIGINEXT.

27th August 2009 RODIAN Communications is delighted to be supporting IDLS 2009 taking place on 2 - 4 December at the Messe Wien Exhibition and Congress Center, Vienna, Austria. During the Symposium, the Remote Crypto Distribution System ( RCDS® ) will be connected to a number of ‘live' MIDS terminals on the RODIAN stand where we will be delighted to demonstrate and discuss its operationally proven capabilities.

RODIAN Joins FSi
3rd September 2008 RODIAN Communications AS is delighted to be a member of the Norwegian Defence and Security Industries Association (FSi) http://www.fsi.no. The defence and security industry sectors in Norway comprise more than 5000 highly skilled employees. Most of them are employed by FSi’s 115 member companies.
NATO Approval
19th August 2008 The RCDS® is now NATO approved after successfully completing both the EMC and TEMPEST (SDIP-27A) tests. These tests were the last to be conducted prior to achieving NATO Accreditation following which it is planned to achieve US NSA approval.
IDLS 2008
